McKenzie Smith Gay M.Ed
McKenzie Smith Gay is from Cobb County and attended school in the Cobb County School District. She graduated from Harrison High School in 2009 and went on to attend Georgia Southern University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Education in Special Education (2013) and Masters in Special Education Adaptive Curriculum (2014). After graduating from the Greatest University in America, she joined the staff at Lewis Elementary, where she is now in her seventh year of teaching. She has twice been nominated for Teacher of the Year.

McKenzie is married to Andrew, who is a Federal Probation Officer in Georgia. They both enjoy everything Georgia Southern, The Atlanta Braves, watching football, and good food. They have two sons, Cohen and Elijah!
